Pardon Me

Illustration

The prompt for this illustration was "Mistaken Identity", with the interpretation left open. A lighthearted approach using two different amphibians seemed like just the ticket: frogs tend toward wetter habitats, while toads are generally more comfortable on land. The piece was an opportunity to explore a more traditional approach to illustration, inspired by the warmth and character of older children's books.
