The Case of the Missing A.Y. Jackson, a true-crime stage play written by Judi Straughan, explored the 1974 theft of two Group of Seven paintings. The visual language draws on crime-scene imagery, using bold colour, graphic framing, and diagonal caution-tape motifs to evoke tension, investigation, and restricted access. The typographic treatment references 1970s design styles to subtly ground the piece in the era of the crime.
