You're Gonna Fly, Friend

Mural

Live Love Louder (L3) offered a new opportunity, this time with the Sudbury Youth Wellness Hub in downtown Sudbury. Compass connected with the local youth to gain insight into their vision for the mural, with several key words emerging from those conversations. Pairing each word with an appropriate verb — such as kindness reaches — gave me a starting point for sketching something abstract, until a more concrete visual began to surface. The final design is filled with energy, while remaining peaceful, communicating a sense of freedom, protection, and belonging.
