Franklin Carmichael Exhibit at AGS

Packaging

For the 2020 exhibit opening at the Art Gallery of Sudbury (AGS), a series of packaging and complementary promotional materials were developed to support and promote the event. The artwork incorporates key visual elements frequently found in Carmichael's work, alongside other Northern treasures commonly encountered along Ontario's hiking trails.

A landscape clean and crisp in form and color, rich in inspiration is all that an artist could wish for, begging to be used, and full of inherent possibilities.

Events like this are fleeting by nature, often lasting only a few months, but the artwork itself holds far more potential.

For this project, the illustrations were thoughtfully considered for a second life as greeting cards — a charming extension that reflects a commitment to sustainability, care for craft, and long-term thinking.
